14 years of founder-led design, from packaging to the web.
the discipline is the same: understand what matters, make it clear fast, and present it with character. every website stays founder-led from first brief to launch.

selected clients across branding, packaging, and web.
your website can undersell a very good business.
looks interchangeable — a generic style makes a distinctive business feel replaceable.
sounds like everyone else — vague claims hide what makes your offer worth paying for.
proof is easy to miss — reviews, credentials, and results are on the site, but not where the decision happens.
the next step feels uncertain — visitors understand pieces of the business, but not what to do next.
clients form an opinion before they ever contact you. when the website feels generic or unclear, a strong business looks smaller than it is.
that is not just a design problem. it is a perception problem: the website sets the value of your business before the conversation begins.
one website that makes your business easier to choose.
we organize the message, design, page structure, and proof around one clear impression of your business.
a clearer message
your business information becomes a clear page structure and a working website text draft that helps visitors grasp the offer fast.
brand-led visual direction
type, color, imagery, and composition are chosen around your business, not a template.
proof with a purpose
reviews, credentials, and real work appear where they support the buying decision.
a clear path forward
focused calls to action and a working lead form make the next step obvious.
built to perform
responsive, lightweight pages with crawlable content, metadata, and essential tracking included.
owned by your business
your domain, content, analytics, and website accounts stay in your control after launch.
website redesign servicesone focused website. one fixed price.
studio is the focused website format of a founder-led design practice. scope, page count, revision rounds, and the launch process are all defined before work begins.
one landing page up to 10 sections or a focused marketing website up to 5 pages · typical launch in 2–6 weeks
a custom marketing website shaped around how your business should be understood and remembered. we organize the structure and copy, align the design with your brand, build the site, and prepare it for launch.
no sales call required. we reply in writing.
everything included in the focused scope
the focused scope builds on the brand foundation you already have. naming, brand strategy, logo design, packaging, and complete identity systems are separate services, quoted before work begins.
additional pages, repeated location or service pages, ecommerce, booking systems, memberships, and custom integrations are priced before work begins.
we prepare a working website text draft from the business information you provide and shape it around the approved page structure. you review and approve all wording and factual details before launch.
the scope is clear before you pay.
for a serious first website — or a better next one.
studio works with established businesses and well-defined new ventures. you don’t need an existing website or years in business. you do need a clear offer, one decision-maker, and enough clarity about the business to build a credible website around.
a serious first website
you have a clear offer, a defined audience, and a real reason to launch — but no credible website yet.
a website that no longer fits
your current site works, but it no longer reflects the quality or direction of the company you run today.
a clearer story for a changed business
your services, audience, or positioning have changed, and the website needs to explain the business as it is now.
a credible destination for new traffic
you are about to invest in Google Ads, search, or outreach and need a website that supports that first impression.
we build new websites and replace existing ones. redesign is a possible starting point, not a requirement.
we can replace an existing WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or GoDaddy website, but the new site is built on our supported setup. we do not redesign, maintain, or continue development inside those platforms.
studio is not designed for ecommerce stores, portals, complex web applications, hourly fixes, ongoing maintenance of websites built by others, full identity programs hidden inside a website scope — or projects chosen on price alone.
larger and more complex projects are handled as full SOTDESIGN engagements and quoted separately.
from first brief to a website that feels like yours.
we start with the business: what you sell, who should choose you, and what the website must accomplish. before design begins, we agree on page structure, copy direction, visual direction, and scope. the process runs over email by default, with every decision documented in writing.
request and focused brief
tell us about the business, the audience, the offer, and what the new site must accomplish. we review the fit and send the focused brief.
recommendation and proposal
we recommend the right format and confirm the scope, price, timeline, responsibilities, and any third-party costs. after the deposit, the technical setup is recorded in the project documentation.
page structure, working text, and visual direction
we organize the business information you provide into a clear page hierarchy, prepare a working text draft, and establish the visual direction around the brand.
design, build, and revisions
we turn the approved direction into responsive pages, share a live preview, and complete up to three revision rounds within the agreed scope.
approval, launch, and handoff
you approve the complete website, including all wording and details. after final approval and payment, we test, launch, transfer accounts and access, and hand over editing guidance.
50% starts the project. the remaining 50% is due before launch and handoff.
clear answers before you commit.
what does “brand-led website” mean?
we start with how your business should be understood and perceived, then use that direction to shape the message, hierarchy, visuals, proof, and user journey. brand thinking informs the website from the start — it is not decoration added at the end.
does the $3,900 package include a full rebrand?
no. the base scope covers website-level brand alignment: refining the message, setting the right visual direction, and translating your existing identity into a coherent web system. naming, logo design, full identity systems, packaging, and brand strategy are separate engagements.
do i need an established visual identity before we start?
not necessarily. a usable logo and basic brand assets help, but we can build a stronger digital direction from limited materials. if your identity is too weak or inconsistent to support the project, we will say so before the agreement and recommend a separate brand scope.
do you build new websites or only redesign existing ones?
both. some clients need a serious first website; others need to replace a site they have outgrown. what matters is a clear offer, a focused scope, one decision-maker, and accurate business information to build around.
do you work with new businesses?
yes, when the business is well defined. you do not need years in business, but you do need a clear offer, a defined audience, a realistic launch plan, and the ability to provide and approve the information the website needs. idea-stage projects that expect the website to define the business are not a good fit.
how much is it, and are there hidden fees?
the founding studio rate is $3,900 for the defined base scope. before the agreement, we confirm the pages, functionality, migration work, third-party costs, and anything quoted separately. after the deposit, the project documentation spells out the platform, technology, editing model, hosting, ownership, and known limitations. there is no required maintenance plan after launch.
one landing page or a full site — what do i get?
the base scope covers either one landing page up to 10 sections or a focused marketing website up to 5 pages. we recommend the format based on your goals. repeated seo pages, extra unique layouts, and additional functionality are quoted separately.
how long does it take?
most projects take 2–6 weeks once we have the brief, content, access, and signed agreement. the schedule also depends on scope and how quickly feedback comes back.
do we need to get on calls?
no. the process runs over email by default, so every decision stays documented. a kickoff or review call is available when it genuinely helps.
who will actually work on my website?
you work directly with the SOTDESIGN marketer and senior web developer. no account managers sit between you and the people doing the work. any specialist partner needed for an approved integration is disclosed before work begins.
is it a template?
no. the visual direction and page structure are designed around your brand, content, and goals. repeated page types may share a consistent layout where that makes sense.
can i edit the content myself?
yes, within the editing model agreed for your project. the proposal explains what you can edit, which accounts you own, and which changes need technical help.
what if i do not like the design?
you review the direction on a live preview and get up to three revision rounds within the agreed scope. we launch only after your final approval.
can you replace my existing WordPress website?
yes. we can replace the existing site and preserve the agreed content, URLs, and essential search structure. the studio package does not include building or maintaining the new website inside WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or GoDaddy.
what happens to our existing urls and seo?
we review important pages, urls, metadata, and available search data before launch. the base scope includes an agreed number of essential redirects and technical migration tasks. large sites, extensive blog archives, and complex seo migrations need a custom scope. rankings cannot be guaranteed.
how does payment work?
a 50% deposit starts the project. the remaining 50% is due after final approval, before launch and handoff. any approved additions are documented and priced before the extra work begins.
what happens after launch?
the base scope includes 30 days of fixes for issues related to the agreed build. new pages, new functionality, content updates, and third-party changes are separate work. there is no required maintenance plan.
what exactly do i receive at handoff?
the live site on your domain and hosting, the agreed accounts and access, a tested lead form, analytics and search setup, favicon and social-sharing image, and a short editing guide where applicable.
will i be found on Google and in AI answers?
no one can responsibly guarantee rankings or AI citations. we build a crawlable, well-structured website with metadata, a sitemap, and essential on-page seo. visibility also depends on competition, content, authority, location, and time.
what technology do you use?
we choose a lightweight, supported stack that fits the agreed website. after the deposit, the project documentation names the platform, technology, editing model, hosting setup, ownership, and known limitations. we sell the outcome, not a list of frameworks.
what about hosting and domain costs?
your domain and hosting stay in your own accounts. the exact cost depends on the approved setup and any third-party services, and we confirm those costs before work begins. there is no hidden sotdesign hosting fee.
what do you need from me?
accurate information about your services, audience, pricing, credentials, and policies — plus your current website if one exists, brand assets, and images. we prepare a working website text draft from that information, and you review and approve the complete wording and factual details before launch.
let your website reflect the business you’re building.
send a few lines about the business, the offer, and what the website needs to accomplish — plus a link to your current site if you have one. we’ll review the fit and reply with a clear next step, in writing.
thanks — we have your details. we’ll review them and reply with the next step.
